Executive Director

Amy Loyd is the Executive Director of the Pathways to Prosperity Network, a collaboration of Jobs for the Future and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In this role, Dr. Loyd supports educators, employers, and government leaders from nine states in developing, implementing, and scaling sustainable policies, infrastructure, and practices to build STEM career pathways for students that are aligned with projected high growth employment needs.  

For over a decade, Dr. Loyd has presented and consulted on K-12 education strategy, leadership, and policy.  She is particularly interested in how diverse stakeholders collaborate to improve education, and she has conducted extensive research into the evolving role of state education agencies.  Prior to joining JFF, Dr. Loyd led a K-12 network of schools-within-schools in Anchorage, and she has expertise in creating culturally responsive educational systems for Native American youth.  She is a graduate of St. John’s College, and of the Doctorate in Education Leadership program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
