Dustin A. Pyles is the Director of Operations for the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN) and manages the network’s portfolio of strategic projects and stakeholder relationships both in Ohio and across the country. In this role, he leads the OSLN implementation of the Ohio Race to the Top P2 STEM initiatives, which has enabled OSLN to evolve from a network that primarily provides STEM school start-ups with technical assistance to a network that also identifies and spreads effective STEM instructional and learning practices.

Prior to his position with OSLN, Pyles served in various leadership and program management roles within state and local agencies, including the Ohio Department of Education with connections to STEM initiatives within the offices of Middle and High School Transformation and Career-Technical Education. He also served under three Ohio Auditors of State, as a state performance and compliance auditor identifying and recommending areas for local and state governments to improve efficiencies and effectiveness, and later as the agency’s Director of General Services. 

Pyles holds bachelor’s degrees in political science, public administration and human resources management as well as master’s degrees in public administration and business administration.
